المسؤوليات

  • Manage establishment of HSE strategies & goals providing effective planning and control so that JBC missions & vision are met.
  • Manage the establishment of HSE department Policies and procedures to assure safe and correct employee’s activities.
  • Manage the follow-up on implementing HSE and safety procedures at JBC and make necessary corrective actions if needed to ensure personnel safety and HSE compliance to all local and international regulations.
  • Manage making critical decisions regarding HSE activities based on technical knowledge and expertise to solve problems correctly and safely.
  • Manage internal department training to assure suitable training is provided for subordinates according to their responsibilities so all activities within departments are performed safely and correctly.
  • Manage the formulation of Emergency Response Teams and ensure that team members are fully trained and equipped to deal with emergency cases.
  • Support the continuous update and adherence to HSE procedures, and make sure that JBC integrated management system maintenance and compliance with ISO-9001, ISO 14000, ISO 45001 standards requirements.
  • Ensuring the Human Resources activities within the HSE department (vacations, time attendance, training …etc) are all in line with set policies while directing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Set the HSE budget and financial forecasting and monitoring the expenditures of HSE department function to assure that the financial performance is according to the budget.
  • Provide technical advice to other departments regarding HSE parameters, data, costs, equipment and activities to assure high performance and reduce cost and help taking accurate decision.
  • Manage the follow-up on JBC complying to HSE audit results.

 

مؤهلات

  • Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering / HSE engineering.
  • 10 years’ experience of HSE management within chemical / petrochemical industry.
  • Advanced leadership and management skills.
  • Advanced knowledge and certification of international safety standards (OSHA, NEBOSH… etc).
  • Advanced public speaking and influencing skills.
  • Advanced English language and computer skills.
