Administration Officer

Job Description

Jordan Bromine Company, a leading company in the field of chemical industries, is seeking to invest in the best talents. Therefore, we announce an opportunity for the position of Administration Officer. We offer this distinctive opportunity to work in a stimulating and professional environment, where you will be responsible for Following up on administrative tasks related to employees, visitors, and any external events and activities for the company, and facilitating transactions and procedures related to them according to Jordan Bromine company local requirements and Albemarle corporation global requirements.

Responsibilities

·Follow up on hotel agreements made with the company.

·Manage hotel bookings within Jordan and internationally.

·Handle travel ticket bookings and coordinate with travel agencies for both domestic and international travel.

·Monitor transportation and logistics for visitors.

·Track express shipping agreements and manage express shipments with Aramex.

·Manage the petty cash fund and reconcile expense reports.

·Organize company activities and events, and coordinate with approved vendors until the completion of the events.

·Provide general support for visitors.

·Communicate with departments and divisions to coordinate and manage correspondence and events.

·Reporting meeting minutes, travel expense reports, booking and shipping reports, and other reports related to the nature of the work.

·Performing all duties according to approved health and safety regulations and complying with general health and safety procedures and standards.

·Reporting any suspicious condition or behavior that poses a risk to public safety.

· Communicate and follow up with departments and divisions as outlined above.

·Coordinate with visitors to arrange and address any matters related to them.

·Coordinate with external service providers to manage administrative tasks, events, and services for employees and visitors.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
  • Work Experience: 3 years of experience in administrative services, preferably in travel and tourism offices.
  • To be a person with special needs.

  • Advanced computer skills.
  • Time management and discipline.
  • Excellent proficiency in English.
  • Organizational skills and ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulations and requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Good judgment and ability to handle confidential information with integrity.

Required Knowledge:

  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
  • Understanding of office management procedures and best practices.
  • Good knowledge of archiving processes.
