Housing Receptionist

Job Description

Therefore, we announce an opportunity for the position of Housing Receptionist. We offer this distinctive opportunity to work in a stimulating and professional environment, The Housing Receptionist is responsible for receiving employees and directing them to their designated housing units, as well as providing for their accommodation needs.

Responsibilities

  • Reception of new employees and directing them to their assigned accommodation units/rooms.
  • Guiding visitors and suppliers, when needed, to appropriate accommodation areas and providing basic information about housing.
  • Providing excellent service to employees and resolving any issues that arise during their stay.
  • Issuing and managing access cards and housing keys.
  • Organizing and conducting orientation tours for new employees to explain and guide them around the housing areas.
  • Monitoring housing reservations according to departmental requirements, shift schedules, ensuring proper check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Conducting verification and basic maintenance operations for residential facilities and reporting any technical problems.
  • Providing housing necessities such as consumables, bedding, blankets, and other essentials.
  • Coordinating with cleaning personnel to ensure cleanliness of rooms and accommodation units.
  • Handling emergencies or situations requiring immediate intervention and reporting any security or health and safety violations.
  • Monitoring service levels and accommodation quality, and providing reports to management.
  • Ensuring compliance with general safety standards by employees in the housing.
  • Assisting in monitoring inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring effective use, and providing consumption reports.
  • Performing all duties in accordance with approved health and safety regulations and compliance with public health and safety procedures and standards.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: A Diploma’s degree in Hotel Management or related discipline.
  • Work Experience: 1-2 years of experience working in the reception department.

Knowledge & Skills Required:

  • Familiarity with reception operations and reservation software usage.
  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles.
  • Very good computer skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, and other software.
  • Very good level of English language proficiency.
  • Organization, prioritization, and time management skills.
  • Decision-making skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of regulations and requirements.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Building strong collaborative relationships.
