Mechanical Maintenance Planning Engineer

Responsibilities

  • Good knowledge & experience with plants stationary & rotating equipment, understanding the work details and time estimate for the tasks on them.
  • Ability to develop Job Plans, Standard Operating Procedure SOPs, Method Statements for major tasks and equipment repairs.
  • Must be able to develop detailed plans, schedules, and track progress of all maintenance works.
  • Good knowledge in working with planning and scheduling tools and software.
  • Must have experience in manhours estimation and familiar with maintenance expertise and competency.
  • Familiar with spare parts and materials specifications along with experience in rigging and lifting tasks.
  • Ability to Lead daily / weekly cross-functional scheduling meetings with other departments.
  • Good knowledge in following up key performance indicators (KPIs), prepare weekly and monthly reports and conduct the required analysis for the planning and scheduling KPIs.
  • Familiar with Shutdowns plans and schedules and reporting shutdown activities.
  • Experience in chemical manufacturing industry.

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering .
  • 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Good Knowledge in using MTC CMMS, i.e. Maximo, SAP or any other similar maintenance management systems.
  • Good Experience in spare parts management, Inventory system and stock levels, Drawings and P&I D.
  • Good written and spoken English skill.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent knowledge in Ms office, including word, Excel (Advanced), power point.
  • Certified CMRP or CRL is advantage.
