Read, Study and interpret assembly instructions, Fabricate frameworks or shells for machinery, boilers, tanks, and stacks, and metal parts/components for other stationary equipment and structures.
Read, study, and interpret blueprints, sketches and drawings, make measurements and assist in preparing the As-Built drawings, BOM, and isometric drawings.
Perform maintenance activities on stationary equipment like Tanks, drums, columns, exchangers, pipes, and valves including installation, dismantling, assembly, and disassembly, shop rebuilds and repair.
Implement maintenance works according to safety procedures to ensure personnel, equipment and environment safety.
Good Knowledge in computer skills including Microsoft Office.
Good written and spoken English skill is advantage.
Candidate having experience in fabrication & installation of thermo plastics (PFA, ECTFE, PVDF, CPVC), Fiber-reinforced-Glass (FRP) would be an advantage
Qualifications
Having National vocational Certificate in Fabrication, installation works & welding or Equivalent with min of 5 years’ experience or, the General Certificate of Secondary Education with 7-6 years’ experience, as minimum in Structural and piping fabrication, installations & welding in Gas and oil Refineries, or Petrochemical/Chemicals Industries.
Assemble and secure tubes, fitting and related equipment according to specifications by welding, fusing, brazing, soldering and threading joints.
Performs fabrication, welding, brazing and metal cutting tasks on pipeline, pipeline fittings and other equipment.
Measure and mark pipes for cutting, threading, and welding
Inspect, examine and test installed systems and pipelines using pressure gauges, hydrostatic testing, observation, and other methods
