Required Qualifications:
- Sc. in related Engineering field
- PMI/PMP certificated is strongly recommended
- Schedule PMI-SP certificated is strongly recommended
- 4-8 years of experience in related Job.
Main Duties and Accountabilities:
- Support development and maintenance of cost management processes on the project in support of the project’s cost management requirements.
- Liaise with project estimating in support of development of the project budget.
- Responsible for the development and maintenance of the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) for consistency of data and reporting.
- Develops and maintains contingency drawdown plan and provides input and recommendations for ongoing maintenance and reporting during the project’s phase of work.
- Ensure that all cost management activities adhere to the Project’s Work Breakdown Structures (WBS).
- Assist with implementation of the cost control and reporting processes associated with the project work scope.
- Maintain allocated scope of work within the project Cost Management System (CMS) including associated logs (trend & change, contingency, etc.).
- Responsible for cost reporting, inclusive of budgets, actuals, commitments, accruals, trends, variances and final forecasts assessment for allocated scope of work
- Assists and coordinates with Contract Administrators on the processing of project invoices and commercial change management and claims. Identify any discrepancies in Contractor payment and works to resolve any issues to timely payment for goods or services received.
- Interface with the JBC Finance & Accounting in the creation, management and control of cash flow forecasting, provision of financial perspective on project performance, asset creation, timekeeping, accounting entries and reviews, system data analysis and reporting.
- Monitor Contractor cost management, reporting and invoicing activities per agreed contract terms and scope of work.
- Participate in project Cost & Schedule Risk Analysis workshops, assisting with the modelling of the project’s cost outcome and assists with the ongoing implementation of a project-wide change and contingency management process.
- Support the review and evaluation of project cost related information of the tender submissions for each project stage.
- Provide input and support for the overall JBC assurance reviews where necessary and applicable to the cost management function for allocated scope of work.
- Gather and analyze benchmark data to support the cost & schedule assurance processes.
- Ensure compatibility of Contractor’s cost reporting efforts with the integrated JBC reporting requirements.
- Maintain auditable files; including electronic files within Project required systems.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships with Contractor project controls and project management teams.
