Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, AutoDesk AutoCAD/ PMP is plus.
• Over 2- 4 years of overall experience in projects supervision, Knowledge of AutoCAD and engineering software is preferable.
• Excellent command of English and Arabic languages.
• Excellent computer and Microsoft skills.
• Advanced Projects planning skills.
• Knowledge about international engineering standards.
• Problem solving skills & Strong follow-up skills.
Main Duties and Accountabilities:
• Implement strategies and goals for projects department functions.
• Compliance with departmental policy covering all areas of department activity.
• Perform necessary follow-up on contractor’s activities.
• Perform various activities related to project cycle management software such as Proper Initiation of project approval cycle, notification of the completion of the approval cycle and the final acceptance certificate approval cycle.
• Follow-up on implementing projects and safety procedures within department and contractor and make/recommend necessary corrective actions if needed.
• Prepare work and request for proposals required to get technically and commercially competitive bids.
• Assist in Studying bidder’s proposals to ensure compliance with project request.
• Provide and assure proper materials handling to nested contractors.
• Specify material, issue purchase requisition, follow up with purchasing, review offers and recommend for purchasing.
